Some background: A Witcher is a young boy who has been left to fend for themselves and taken in by the group called Witchers and they are trained to levels of almost inhuman agility and endurance. Many won't survive, and those who do travel the world slaying monsters.
Cavill's character Geralt of Rivia, is a solitary monster hunter, struggling to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny pushes him toward a powerful sorceress and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile world of dangerous monsters together.
